“Joy of Engineering” – an annual HR event and an intra collegiate technical symposium was conducted on September 22nd, 2018 at Adithya Institute of Technology, to facilitate students to do engineering in a joyful manner.
It was inaugurated by four industry personnel from renowned corporates Mr. Venkatesan Narayanasamy, Associate Vice President, CRI Pumps Pvt Ltd, Mr. Pradeep Rajaram, Assistant Manager – Human Resources, Titan Company Limited, Mr. John Suganth, Managing Director, Divine Integrated Farms India Pvt Ltd, and Mr. Charles Godwin, HR – Thought Leader & Public Speaker.
Dr. Chitra Manohar, CEO of the college welcomed the guests and briefed on the purpose of the event. Er. C.Sukumaran, Chairman, delivered the presidential address and motivated students to learn engineering with joy. Dr.S.Muthu, Principal, advised the students to exhibit their talent and skills and grab each opportunity.
The Guests from various fields addressed the young minds of Adithya. Mr. Venkatesan Narayanasamy, Associate Vice President, CRI Pumps Pvt Ltd, shared his life experience and emphasized his views on Continuous learning, High aspiration and Effective communication. According to Mr. Pradeep Rajaram, Assistant Manager – Human Resources, Titan Company Limited, Joy of Engineering lies in Exploration. He asked the students to take fresh initiatives, think out of box, have passion in learning and make use of each opportunity. Mr. John Suganth, Managing Director, Divine Integrated Farms India Pvt Ltd, expressed the importance of clean and sustainable technology which is the need of the hour. Mr.Charles Godwin, HR – Thought Leader & Public Speaker, insisted the students to never ever take an opportunity for granted, celebrate themselves and live their dream.
In the next session all the stalwarts shared their views and thoughts to respective departments. Discussions, interactive sessions and display of projects judged by industry personnel ignited the innovative spirit of the students.
In the afternoon, 24 Technical events were conducted. Over 1000 entries were registered and 350 prizes were given to the students. At the end of the day students went home bagging hundreds of prizes after a joyful experience.
